Shamanic Growthwork is a unique program for our personal re-empowerment and the recovery of our whole, true self. This is a contemporary path, resting on thousands of years of human experience in the recovery of wellness.
Steve began developing Shamanic Growthwork when he learned how our ancestors found their wellness, long before civilization spread its concrete and pavement between ourselves and our Earth.
He learned how an easily reached state of mind—between a low alpha and theta brainwave pattern—could help open the doors of our imagination, facilitate our discovery of personal direction, and help us recover our wholeness and power. Through careful instruction and guidance in attaining the rich imagery of the shamanic journey, and with support and assistance in the reflection on experiences while there, one can begin to recall and reclaim his or her true self. Our ancestors found this state with a drum or rattle. We can now induce this through technologically crafted music or sounds of nature.
In Shamanic Growthwork, the ancient and contemporary merge to assist our recovery of natural wholeness and power. Perhaps, with this base, we might begin to rediscover the joy and miracle of our opportunity for life.
You can begin a personal recovery with Steve at any time by contacting Balance Health of Ben Lomond and scheduling your first appointment. A series of five (minimum) meetings is recommended to become sufficiently ‘fluent’ in shamanic journeying, and thus derive the most from your work. Seven or eight meetings would be ideal. Rates are $85.00 per 55 minute hour. It is possible to have 80 minute consultations if the front desk can arrange this, and the fee for these is $100.00.
