The most efficient way to refill your medication is to contact your pharmacy and have them generate a request through the secure, web-based system that communicates directly with your electronic chart in our office.
Please request refills at least 3 to 4 days before you will need them, especially if there is a weekend or holiday intervening.
If you have been advised to have lab work done or a recheck in our office before your medication refills expired, we will only refill the medication for a limited time, in order for you to schedule the required appointment.
The state of California does NOT recognize refills for these prescriptions. You will need to pick up a new one monthly if you are in need of ongoing medication.
Regular visits will be necessary to evaluate the safety and necessity of these medications.
Patients on regular use of Schedule II narcotics will be asked to sign a pain medication contract.
